Knock Knock....trick or treat!

We had a light turnout tonight. Probably four or five groups at most and one was my son and daughter in law and their three little boys.

One group consisted completely of adults. One was probably at least 35. I think that is a little over the appropriate age but hey!, we are good sports and if someone shows up in costume no matter how old we give them candy!

The light is off now though.

The Mrs is watching a Zombie movie.....hah!

So far, a doctor, a nurse (about 7 or 8 yrs old) and 1 Vampiress, about 11. Sometimes we still get a few teenagers, (though never a 35 yr old) after 10 PM and I'm a good sport about it, so I start giving out the remaining candy in handfuls. I think 10:25 is the latest I've ever had in this neighborhood, probably most other people quit answering their door.

Kids respect turned out lights in Indiana? When I was a kid in Bellevue Washington, people who turned out their lights, or left for the night got vandalized. Not by me, of course.

Our local Church has a big Halloween party night, but it doesn't seem to satisfy the kids. It ends at 8:30 and that when our big rush starts. About 80% of out traffic comes between 8:30 and 9:15. I think a lot of them are just trick or treating on their way home.

There's a beautiful moon out tonight, with just a few high clouds making it look a bit Halloween spooky. Temps about 49, so a pretty good Halloween around these parts. The last of a recent 6" snow just finished melting today. Some years it's close to freezing in the evening, so the kids are lucky this year. Heavy winter coats usually ruins the look of the costume.

I don't really know what's going on at my house, but there's still snow on the ground. I think my wife and 2 daughters are going to three separate parties later tonight anyway. I'm stuck in a hotel someplace in NC (on my way to VA tomorrow).

Amazingly little happening in our street. Heard a few screams and moans from the apartment complex across the golf course but nothing else. My wife and I were out in our back yard observing the moon and Jupiter with my telescope, now that I've got new legs made for it's mount.

The world has officially gone mad. I tried to find Rocky Horror on any of the 9000 stations tonight and no sign of Rocky Horror.

Yes I can still do the Time Warp dance.

Ahhhh, the tricks, the treats...

I had a nose bleed earlier. Blood got on my chin and shirt. Some 13 ish kids came to the door and I did not have time to wash first. They said I looked scarry. As I leaned over to grab some candy I thohgt of a good reply. SO as I was distributing the candy between the 3 pillow cases, I explained to them that: "There's no need to worry, I was simply bludgeoning a few guests in the basement and things got a little messy." As I was finishing I opened my eyes real wide, then looked them up and down giving them this strange wide eyed, crooked smile sort of look.

They didn't look at all scared at first, but they sure did by the time they left.

BWAHH HA HA HA HA!!!!

Oh yeah, isn't it traditional for Rocky Horror Show to come on at midnight?

I haven't had a transvestite fix in a long time.

I think it's a dig towards moderators.

I had a Treky awhile ago, he was about 13 years old, looked just like Tyler.

We had gone out to eat earlier in a nice restaurant in a nearby small town which has a nice view of a lake and the waitresses were all in costume.

Some looked deliciously sexily slightly scary.

One looked just crazy....
