Not sure, I know he said on the interview that he tried to make people look like what Jews of the era might have. God similarly, who knows.

Heard a review of it a few days ago. Reviewer was surprised and found it very good. It made me consider buying it. Can't be all bad due to the fact that most youth of today have no clue about the bible. I may buy a copy for my daughter.
