Sure enough, but isn't the rule of the iron hand the reason so many complained
about BW?

BW is superior to MS in the technical help section. Far, far superior.
They have all the models in diffent sections so search and help is much more direct and saves lots of time. So yeah, some people do care.

Yep you are correct. If I want to add a wing to my w124 I can find all the tech help there I'd ever need. Or if I wanted to put on a hood scoop on a w201 I'd have no issues finding plenty of posts. And if I wanted to make a video of how to put tranny oil on the ground and then make loads of smoke with a burnout that's the place. Sorry to say folks should not care. Not to mention the great for sale section- all the 20 inch rims you could ever want.

I have never had the urge the put a wing onto any of my old 124s, I had 3 of those, or a hood scoop on my even older 201 hence I've never searched for said items. However when I wanted to know the reason behind the stalling of my 210 the answer was right there within minutes in the form of crankshaft position sensor with pictures and instructions to boot, when I wanted to find out the procedure to change the engine mounts or transmission mount on the 210 there are also detailed instructions with pictures. The same goes for many other repairs or maintenance jobs so for me the do-it-yourself section at BW is more useful then here. Because the tech help section here is a free for all the chance of getting help fast is less than when the models are separated. Not too mention the ambient noise from helpful but less then knowledgeable people.
I can't speak for the "Other" section as I don't participate in it.
There is also an A160 section, I know the model is not sold in the USA, so I can get, albeit somewhat limited, info for my wife's car as well. And when I wanted to find out how and where to get OBDII scanner and software, like Carsoft, the information I found was incredibly useful.
But to each is own, frequent whichever site you like better.
