67 Alfa Romeo GTV
My step dad has a 67 Alfa GTV that's been sitting in a barn for years. Says he needs to get rid of it and pretty much wants to give it away.
Anyone here into old Alfas? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Alfa_Romeo_GT_Veloce.jpg |

I owned a '61 Alfa spider for 40 years. Repaired many of them when I was in business.
Your link is to a newer GTV, about a 1970. Here's what a '67, sometimes known as a step nose gtv, really looks like. http://bringatrailer.com/2008/11/22/clean-step-nose-1968-alfa-romeo-gt-junior/ |

That is a good excuse to build a bigger garage...

she loves these little things, just about the only "sports" car she like the looks of. i'm not quite sure if she's 100% convinced though...

I haven't seen it in years and I know he hasn't touched it for at least five to seven. If I recall its all apart. Engine and drivetrain has been completely rebuilt. It may just be a parts car. I need to go have a look.
My folks are getting pretty old and will be selling the property someday in the near future and trying to get rid of stuff. At one time he mentioned having it hauled off. I hate to see that happen if it might be worth something. They have already been taken advantage of lately. I'll search again for an Alfa forum. |
