Kenyan Outrage after Leaders Ditch Mercedes
 

I always heard that Kenya was one of the most reasonable african countries. Now we have proof.

Trading in a Mercedes for a VW? Thats a fate worse than death, I'd probably take the bus. Anything is better than a VW, heck even Nike shoes would be a welcome improvement.

Too expensive to purchase and maintain... There goes Mercedes brand image in Kenya. There's a huge following there from what I gather. One local guy in the club (Enok, Inok, can't spell his name) is a Kenyan native and owns 3 W126s, a W116, and I even think a W140.

Have you ridden in / seen a CC in person? :eek: Heck for that matter have you driven a VW lately? Things have come a long way since yee olde beetle. ;)

If only you could get it with the TDI...
