vista issues

So I have been having some severe vista issues lately. I will work online in firefox or even google chrome and walk away for 30 minutes, come back and windows will lock up. It will also do it randomly sometimes and I have to do a hard reset to get back.

I updated firefox just now to see if that helps but its also doing it in chrome and I just downloaded that two days ago.

I am going to upgrade to 7 on monday to see if thats any help. Doubt it will be since it will still be a microsoft OS.

Same thing happens to my firefox with vista, but usually just closing and re-opening the browser settles it down for a while. Sometimes I have to restart it.

About Microsoft's tag line "Life Without Walls" . . . if your life was without walls . . . what would you do with a window?

Which means you are trusting that single solitary spinning drive in your PC to not fail and lose everything? What is it with people and not backing up anything?!

You would have to do a clean install with windows 7....but it is well worth it over Vista's horror.

Buy a portable hard drive!! You can get HUGE ones for less than $100

I knew you were going to say that. Extract the license and just reinstall. If you need help, PM me. I can upgrade you remotely.

You can upgrade vista to 7. Microsoft has a tool that will scan your system for compatibility issues for both software and hardware issues before the upgrade. I don't trust it 100%, but it's a start.
