Does He or Doesn't He?

Difference between May and October of 2008, during campaign.

In Asia this week.

Regardless, there's little denial that the job carries a physical effect with it.

I always thought Bill Clinton "grayed-up" after he was elected. I think he greyed his hair after becoming pres to look older and more statesman like.
Of course, he's older now and has had bypass surgery. He be totally gray now, for sure.

The guy that looks funny now is the AG.. Eric Holder. Dude you're balding badly and the kleig lights in Congress make your dome look shiney and weird.

Yes they sell those at those "gag" stores. I love those places. They sell all kinds of crazy things like fake dog poop , hand buzzers , the book " Foreign policy of the George W. Bush administration".

Thats why most leaders don't live that long. If you look back at WW2 most of the famous generals didn't live a decade after the war ended. The stress of what they had gone through took to much of a toll on there body's.

A lot of the German generals died in their 60's.

As a bald-American, I'm generally distrusting of any politicians with comb-overs and who color their hair. If they can't be honest about their hair, which everyone can see, what won't they lie about?

Rommel had a different sort of stress. OTOH, life expectancy was a lot lower then.

reminds me of catch-22:

"it s better to lose wars, then win them."

or

"it is better to live on your knees, then die on your feet."

I got a better one. It's not whether you win or lose but how you play the game. All of these are the mantra of those not in 1st place. 2nd place, first loser, 3rd place 2nd loser and so on.

actually, the point was being made, by a fictional 109 year old italian man, that the italians seemed to survive much better by being conquered by the germans and the americans. (there was no "marshall plan" for america, post wwII - the japanese seemed to have done much better also.)

have you read catch 22
