One Man's "Done Tastefull" [sic] is Another Man's "Not So Much!"

I've been semi-keeping an eye out for a Dodge Magnum (I know, I know. But what can I say, I was a hotrod kid and a Hemi wagon still appeals to me). Nothing serious but I'm always looking. Anyway I came across this one, the wheel & tire combo isn't my style but otherwise I didn't think it looked too bad.

Until I saw the interior. Just wow. As if the seats weren't enough, they had to do the headliner, too.

I couldn't help but get a chuckle out of the description.
Quote:
The good: car has custom polished stainless grill. a custom upholstered red ostridge leather interior. done tastefull, cost $5000 alone. also has full borla catback exhaust. asanti 3 piece 22" wheels. staggered with 6" lip in rear and 4" lip up front.($6000) and full KW adjustable coilovers front and rear ($1800) the rest of the car is factory.
That part should have been down in "The bad" section!

Maybe they should have had the interior redone in leopard skin.

That I might have been able to live with.

(Still not so much but couldn't be worse.)

I considered offering him $5K less to cover the cost of having it reupholstered but decided against getting my a$$ kicked.

They could probably get their hands on a Tiger skin pretty soon...at a much cheaper price.

I like the look of the Magnums, and want an SRT-8 Magnum. They look sooo good.

Too bad we never got his here:

300C SRT8 Touring.

I don't know, might be a lot of flaws in the hide from repeated golf club beatings.

I'd actually do the Charger nose swap, like the one you posted awhile back. I like the Charger nose the best out of the three but am not a fan of the rest of its body lines.

Do they sell headliner covers, too?

I have a soft spot for those and the new Chargers, too. I decided about 9 months ago that they weren't going to be many unmolested ones left in 2-3 years. I can't understand why someone would by the Charger with the V6 and hub caps and then start putting those engine "portholes" stickers from AutoZone on it.

I really like the new Challengers but that's ^^^ not working for me. If I weren't the aforementioned Darth Vader with custody of my kids I'd be all over a Challenger.
