"Tilt & Shift" decribes what bellows style cameras could do, moving the lens vertically or horizontally in relation to the film, thereby changing depth of field planes, changing parallex and even optically moving image elements on the film frame.

It was great fun with 4x5 field and studio cameras. Nikon made a wide angle that had the gearing built it to shift.

Yes, there's a software "filter" that can take a regular photograph, such as a picture of a real car on the street, and convert it to an ultra narrow depth of field . . . so that full sized cars look like minature models.

Thre's a product called "Lens Babies" that fits D SLRS and will achieve that effect in camera. I don't think they are that expensive. It's very effective for portraiture, too.

I have one of the older Lens Babies, IIR it was under $100. Lots of fun, and I have a few other pro friends that use the lens exclusively for advertising work.

I have an app on my desktop that will do this to any saved photo. Very cool. I watched the video above called "bathtub III". It reminds me of the old football toy sets with the electric vibrating field where the playes get shaken around.
