Hatterass. My K31 and target.

I've seen you going on about the K31 in other posts. Here's mine.

The first round I fired with it was on the X at 100 yards. This was the second target I shot with it.

great rifles and nice shot group. now, drop down the back sight a notch and get a firm "shoulder pocket" fit and you should be on bull....

Yes it is. Interesting design. Frankly not a rifle I'd like to be in combat with. Much prefer a Mauser bolt action, but it sure is accurate.

Actually the rear sight was set at 100 meters. As low as it can go. I was slightly to the left as well but I think thats me being some kind of bent individual because almost everything I shoot is always a little bit to the left of center.

Yes, I forgot most battle rifles from that era are 100 mtr minimum sights. I pull to the right myself, same reason. I did find that although I am very right handed, my dominate eye is my left eye. Once I compensated for that, my groups improved.

I'm right handed and right eye dominant. I'm just bent I guess

Yes indeed they are. Many of them, including mine had the original owners name under the buttplate. Mine was made in 1944 and issued to a dragoon (cavalryman) from Stusslingen who was born in 1936, which meant that he probably entered the service in about 1954 or so. So the rifle was probably in storage for the first decade of it's existance.

Putting in a vote for my Carl Gustafs m/96 Swede in 6,5mm. Awesome machining, fit and function for a weapon that served in the Winter War.

For semi-auto; the Automatgevär m/42 (Ljungman). I also have the Egyptian equiv., the Hakim in 8mm. M1 Garand next.

I was not aware that Sweden was involved in the Winter war.
