Frosty the Snowman

12 days until Christmas!

I thought I'd share some Christmas Play-Doh art created by my son to help bring in the season.

Very cool, Chad! Now if you ever see a "Crystal the Snow-woman" smash it! What an awful follow-up to such a great cartoon! But I digress,

This wasn't mine but a buddy of mine and his kids built it after our snow last week.

It was quite impressive, almost 8' tall. I just had to share it with someone and since you provided the segue...

Wow!!!! That's a 5 gallon bucket they used for a hat!!

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Frosty and Crystal cartoon. It also bugs me how he says "happy birthday!" every time they put the hat on his head.

It's Play-Doh. I'll have to get some of the oven bake clay so I can keep some of his sculptures.

It does kind of look like a turd now that you mention it, but hey ... he's 3 years old.

I was thinking more along the lines of marshmallows and Oreo cookies were used in the making of said Snow Man I was getting kind of hunrgy looking at it till Play Doh was mentioned. Then I remembered the smell of Play Doh and had a warm fuzzy moment.

Yep. The poor thing was only about 5' tall by the end of the day.

It doesn't bother be when Frosty says it in the original.

When I was little in preschool we always made this playdough that you would make with like baking soda, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. They were obviously not meant for eating, but my 6 year old self just couldn't comprehend that just because you mix in stuff to make a cake doesn't mean you can eat it.

I still ate it Ahh the joys of being 6.
