Good friend is on his death bed...
WTF, this sucks. He has cancer and in the last few months it just went nuts. Last year he came out good after the first round of chemo, I thought he was threw the worst of it. He was pretty healthy and even finished his spring semester of school, it looked like the worse was over. But than it came back bad, very bad. Now its in his lungs and brain. He probably won't make it to Christmass...
I just had the hardest time of my life sitting in the ICU watching my childhood friend wasted away to nothing.:( I couldn't even speak. Damn, I'm off to get drunk. The good ones really do die young. |
sorry to hear - my sister has also made a turn and its been -- as you know
carefull driving dude take a pal to get you home |
Sorry to hear that. Try to take it straight up.

That's horrible Hattie ... very sorry to hear it.:(
|
I'll be thinking of you this week...and I'll add a prayer for your friend.
|
Sorry to hear it. I lost my best friend 6 years ago, Thanksgiving. It leaves a hole that never quite gets filled in.
|
Losing a childhood friend is always very painful.
|
Damn, Chris. Sorry to hear that. :( Thoughts and prayers are with your friend and his family (and you as well).
|
I am so sorry to hear about your friend. My prayers are with you and his family too.
My Mom is currently going through chemo and my father in law went through it last year. Luckily both times it was caught early. My ex sister in law died of brain cancer. I think she was 21. It's hard when they go so young. Just remember, live like they would want you to live! Danny |

About the only thing you can do is remember the good times and help the other friends through this. Whatever you do, please make sure you get someone else to do the driving if you are going to do some drinking. We don't need an accident with you during this time. |
That is terrible. My thoughts and prayers are with you and with him.
My best friend growing up lost his older brother to a brain tumor. Even 30 years later it still hurts to think of the wasted potential. It is very sad when the young go like this. |
Yeah it really does suck. He was smart to, was going to be an anesthesiologist.
This has really been a roller coaster year for me. My business is doing really well, and next year is shaping up to be an even better year. But now my friend is dieing and I just found out my mom has breast cancer. WTF. Its like when you get one thing sorted out a **** storm hits you on the other end. |
hattie- I am sorry to hear this. thoughts and prayers for your friend.
|
I'm sorry you are going through this Hattie. Hang in there bud. :( Surround yourself with close friends and family...
|
Chris,
Sorry to hear about this. I hope your Mother gets excellent and prompt care, my sincere best wishes to you and your family and friend. C. |
