You'd think that with thousands of Colorado teenagers taking the course, things would get corrected quickly.

Maybe they are not good at listening to feedback. Did you try to contact them with the corrections?

You are putting a baby behind the wheel. Make absolutely sure she is ready (sure she is eager but is she really ready?) We have learned from experience that a drivers license is nearly impossible to undo once it is issued.

Make sure you take her out in a parking lot or something where it's wet, so she can see how easy it is to lose control by going too fast. Have her practice hard braking too, especially if there is no ABS. Can be pretty tricky, and of course the natural instinct is to slam on the brakes and hold them there as hard as you can, which just gets you no where in a nonABS car. Better yet, just get her an ABS equpped car.

I hope she gets her permit before winter is over so we can go to some parking lots to learn how to lose/recover control.
I also want to teach her to drive both manual and auto transmissions. I've realized that my Fuso FG is a good vehicle to learn to drive stick. 1st gear in 4L is so low that it is super easy to learn the clutch.

I have until July until mine can get a permit, I suspect she will be there on her birthday to take the classes/test.

Having had two daughters go through driver's Ed courses I would be curious as to what the minimum passing grade in this course is. Both the courses my kids took and the DMV exams seemed to allow 70% maybe even 60% correct as the minimum passing grade.

It sounds like there where more incorrect answers to the test taken; than the two you have a dispute with, which prevented achieving a passing grade.

While it may be unfair that some of the questions have incorrect answers it's hard to understand how they would significantly impact the ability of someone to pass. I would be worried about what the other incorrectly answered questions where and why they where answered incorrectly unfortunately increasing the significance of the couple bogus question/answers that have been spoken about.

My kids will tell you to this day, Billybob is not interested in what you got correct because that is what you are expected to accomplish, I want to know what you didn't get correct so that can addressed and learned as is expected. They hated to get a grade of less than 100% because they knew that was going to lead to the "well what didn't you learn?" question!

7 questions on the test. Minimum passing grade 75%. Two wrong=72%

The thermostat is not part of the cooling system?

Is there drugs involved? The CATALYTIC CONVERTER?!?

Where do you find these people?

And, yes, the second question is a true statement. Maybe they just don't understand logic? Or is true / false too difficult?

You should ask them if the tires are part of the suspension. They do support the vehicle and dampen some impacts / vibrations :D
