I've got television again

My wife gave me a 40" LCD Sansung for Christmas and I got the DirectTV system to go with it. It has been since June that I had television and I had forgotten how nice the DVR system is. There are really only about three or four shows that I watch so the DVR comes in good. The picture quality is impressive. I'm still not the type of person that can sit around the house all day and watch television and the latest projects are rebuilding the porch and prepping the pack house for use as a shop. We have a long list of "to do" items and hopefully the tv won't interfere with it. The pack house is going to make a nice shop (30' x 50').

That's right. We used the "porch" end 30+ years ago to remove the tobacco from the sticks and prepare it for market. Here are the tobacco sticks that I need to clear out. I even found a couple bales of 30+ year old tobacco. Anybody have a clue what I need to do with all these tobaccco sticks? Right now I have some ads on Craigslist advertising them for tomato stakes.

Yep, doing as good as I have ever done. Wife #2 is the best thing that ever happened to me. Unfortunately both of my boys (who live with the ex) got bad wrapped up in drugs and the 16 yr old is currently incarcerated for who knows how long. I suspect it will be just a matter of time before he od's or dies in some other stupid, youthful way. To maintain my sanity I don't have anything to do with any of them anymore with the exception of sending that child support check every month. I suspect the ex has some substantial laywer fees and court costs. On the other hand I have two great step daughters now that any dad/step dad would be proud to have.
