The reason why the 7 deadly sins are considered deadly is because they each short circuit the reasoning side of your brain. Greed is the most predominant of the 7, creating a sense of euphoria and well being when subjected to the prospect of great riches, no matter how unreal it may seem. It's sort of like getting caught up in the powerball 190 million jackpot and spending all of a week's pay on tickets.
Unlike the other 6, Greed never sleeps. It stalks our very nature. It can keep us awake at night and consume our thoughts. Unless we keep it in check, we will fall prey to these shysters who exploit that human weakness, this greed. While those of us who laugh at these scams wonder HOW someone could fall for it, somewhere, in the shadows, is a cunning individual who might catch us in their snare, leaving us as embarrassed as the poor sots who fall for this Nigerian nonsense. |

That's one of the better ones I've seen lately. The spelling and grammar are much better than usual. That may even have been written by someone who uses English as a first language.

You can send them a money order for $4,908,081.03 and ask them to deposit the $150 and keep a million bucks for their trouble and then mail you back the balance.
