Why don't you contact them and find out?

Perhaps if they begin capitalizing their 'I's.... it just might be legit.

Not your typical Floridian "flora and fauna" in those pictures.

It's a scam.

Let me guess. They want your name and number if you email them about it.

Well when you give something the ideal of charging around 10 percent of the value is indicating something is wrong. I still feel he will do well with this scam.

A good test is to drop him a note. All applicants will be accepted in the case of a scam. We have had a rash of them in the eastern portion of Canada this past year. All you have to do to succeed is appeal to greed has been proven golden. It took intensive police action to stop them.

I see these scam listings on CL all the time. Any time you see an impossibly low price on CL, just pick a phrase or the VIN or the mileage or something a little bit unique from the listing, and google it. You will usually find other listings for the same car in several places around the country. I did that for a car listed in MD, and found a CL listing for the same car on Guam. I always flag them as prohibited.

Rgds,
Chris W.

You know it's a scam. They do all this filler stuff, usually in white or pale yellow so it gets picked up by just about any search made by anyone.

Also, who in the military can afford a car like this?

Frankly, I'd prefer a new loaded Jeep Commander, in silver, to a newish SL.

I've always maintained that there would be a huge used market for high-performance, factory-made, twin turbo diesel SLs. But I ain't holdin' my breath.
