The weekend is over... Boy oh boy was it awesome. After the day at the track Friday I spent most of the day setting up for the Jetport reception and then enjoying it, checking out the cars there and planes. Food, win, and excellent entertainment to boot.

Saturday was the main event, the exotic car show! We had a ton of movie cars setup for photo ops ($10 donation).. Herbie from Herbie Goes Bananas(the only screen used car there other than the Diablo from dumb and dumber), KITT, GhostBusters Ecto1, Lil' Red Wagon,Landspeeder, Diablo, BTTF car. the '89 batmobile had transmission issues and the canonball run countach was out getting repainted.

But it was still awesome. List of cars incude a polished Veyron, Veyron drop top, Ferrari FXX, few indy cars, Bernard's race car, Valentino's Murcilago, and of course F cars, Lambo's, deloreans, and some other stuff.

I got to drive KITT from my friends house to the show and then had to clean it up quickly since it was covered in pollen. I talked to the 3M/Meguirs guy and he said as long as it gets me out of this booth I'll take a look.. lol So he gave me some stuff and showed me some techniques to increase depth and shine. As well as like $120 worth of pro products and his card(national accounts manager), said he'd going to hook me up with a DA and some other products since I have a very big interest in detailing as well as KITT and Faton's Prowler need some serious work.

I was then sent off to the airport to pick up Tone Loc and his manager. Very cool guy and very chill. Sunday AM was the rally. I drove the massive pickup truck in the rally as the photo truck.100mph was not enough to keep up with the f cars so we chilled in the back since there were two other photo teams leap frogging. I did have fun with the train horns. At the begining there was a bunch of people on the side of the highway watching so I told Nick, the videographer I know to watch this.. Blew by at 90 mph with the horns blowing.

I always wanted to see what it feels like to drive a train so ths big truck was big enough. It was funny because the people on the side saw all the fancy cars go by and then the big truck with the rally logos all over it( I was given 5 big stickers so I went crazy with them) and roared passed them horns blaring... It was awesome.

Once we made the halfway stop for a rest and snack we dipped out to the golf course to shoot the Celebrity golf event with "Shooter McGavin" 20 celebs with groups of 4.. The weather wasn't great but we stuck it out. We were given a golf cart and a map... Shenanigans were in order. Two carts and 4 immature guys with cameras and video equipment. Even the golfers were screwing around... Everyone had fun with us "paparazzi" we'd zoom past them as they walked to the tee say "ah its such and such".. jump out shoot a crap load. hop back in and zoom off...

anyways.. it was cool.. Later that night was a wrap party at the main orginizers mansion.. awesome.. 50 people, 12 celebs ish.. Lea Thompson, Claudia Wells, James Tolken, Chris McDouglas, Tone Loc, guys from Survivor, Coredy Feldman, Joey Fatone. etc etc lots of these types and just relaxing from this past week

it was awesome to say the least
