The Rich, They Really Are Different

Getting Your License Back Gets You a New E550 From Dad

The 20-year-old went to the DMV and had to re-take his road test. We're told he was sober and he passed. His reward from pops -- a black 2010 Mercedes E550 Coupe.

Of course, learning how to drive in a Bentley is posh.

Sounds like dad didn't want him driving his cars so he got his own. Now the kid has to drive a geezer car until he learns to behave himself.

I just have two questions:

1. What happened to the gas station employee he hit with the car when he got his DUI? Did he get any justice?

2. What is the credibility of a man who spent a year trying to intuitive determine how many angels can dance on the head of a pin? I don't mean BillyBob, I mean Thomas Aquinas.

Strelnik, be a sport

You know St Thomas was a good guy. Just had too much time on his hand with no woman in his life. Even a college in Grand Rapids that bears his name.

Care to reveal your and your spouse's (if you have one, or your partners) yearly income and assets, and those of your parents?

Pretty scornful, kind of discouraging of interaction and discussion, no? Shame on you, becoming what you claim to hate!

thank you

Same as a man who did not! I think his description of "Envy" is elegant, and alone has merit, I mention the author only as attribution!

Maybe if we turned off our television sets and actually read things before television was on in every home,we might learn such things like republicans in the 50's were pro choice and the L word was thought of as good way to think .perhaps they go where the winds change.

don't be so defensive. i was referring to thomas aquinas as the unknowing cultist, not you. i have no idea of your religious/philosophical beliefs; your posts suggest something, but i don't really know what.

Um, yeah.....I went to that college. This is one weird thread.

All those rich people seem to do is party, drive expensive cars around, and crash when drunk. Pretty sad life if you ask me. They all end up that way because money doesn't buy happiness, nor does it result in a fulfilling lifestyle. They all end up drunk and depressed.
