Your Dream Car By Decade 1950 - 1989

I'm accepting nominations for your personal dream car from 1950-1989. I respectfully request that you format your answers by decade of model year, and domestic and foreign nameplate. My personal candidates are:

Domestic/Foreign

1950's: 1956 Chevrolet Corvette/1959 BMW 507

1960's: 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado/1967 Mercedes 250 SL

1970's: 1973 Pontiac Trans-Am SD-455/1970 Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3

1980's: 1989 Corvette Conv. (6-speed)1989 Porsche 944 Turbo

Got these a couple of weeks ago in an email which said these were being used on billboards around Detroit. I doubt it.

Not my all time fav's but I'd take a cherry 60's Sting Ray and a 70's Chevelle Super Sport.

1960's - 1960 Cadillac coupe deVille convertible / 220SE Convertible
1970's - 1972 Cadillac Sedan deVille / 1971 300SEL 6.3
1980's - none / 500SEL (240D) (300SD) - not possible to restrict to a single Mercedes at this time.

60's Any nice wagon/68 Impala, 1962 or 1968 Olds 88 / 280SE/SEL 300SEL
70's Hemicuda Convertible, 72 Chevelle or 73 Olds 88 Convertible /280SE/SEL/ 300SD, 500 SLC 300D/240D/300TD
80's first and foremost a 300SD, 300SDL or any 123 diesel, 450SEL, 500SLC/SEL/SE or even a 280E euro or (any nice) 300TD wagon ... American cars from that era?

50s- Not sure, but most likely a 58 F250, with a Marmon-Harrington 4x4 conversion
60s- 66 T-bird or 67 Galaxie 500 Hardtop with a 427 cammer and four speed.
70s- 70 F100 shortbed with a 390 and 4speed od, 3.73 axle. Two tone green, with smooth chrome bumper front and rear.
80s- 300TD

Iconic cars for the decades:
1950s, either '59 Pink Caddy, or an Edsel
1960s, The obvious choice, Ford Mustang. How can you ignore the best-selling new car of all time, as well as a car that inspired a whole new market niche.
1970s, ah, the nadir of USA car production, perhaps the Datsun 240Z
1980s 300SD

50's- 57 F250 4x4 (had one once) - 59 Austin Gipsy (had one of those too)
60's- 66 AC Cobra 427 or a 66 f250 crewcab 4x4 - Porsche speedster
70's- 79 f350 4x4 extra cab - one of those extra long 240D limos
80's- 88 f350 4x4 diesel crewcab (had several of those) - Unimog diesel crewcab

All of the above with manual transmissions- I hate automatics and they don't seem to like me much either!!

1970's- screw the 70's nothing I want.

1980's- Ferrari F40, 288GTO, or any W126 that has AMG go over it.

1960's: corvair monza convertible / 300se coupe (with stick, of course)
1970's: 3 door suburban (just cause its quirky) / '73 450sl
