I think there is no connection between the verse and the weapon. It is simply another Jesus' saying that He is the exclusive way to God.
You either accept that, and believe it, or you don't.

The idea in past years that Jesus was just a great moral teacher fails miserable when you examine His teachings. He either was what He claimed--the only Way to God, or He was not, and in that case you are left with Him as either a liar or a lunatic.

2COR4:6, is an apparent reference to Second Corinthians 4:6 of the New Testament, which reads: "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

Other references include citations from the books of Revelation, Matthew and John dealing with Jesus as "the light of the world." John 8:12, referred to on the gun sights as JN8:12, reads, "Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Trijicon is a great company with a great product. This is just icing on the cake....

ACOG's are awsome sights, I highly suspect thats just a lot number code or some other random number.


But its kind of neat, ACOG's can be used with night vision and in low visability, so in a sense they can light up your world, well at least your sight picture.


I was going to buy one for the Sig but they are like $1,300. I think I'll go with an Aimpoint Comp M4.


LWRC uses this passage for their new awsome REPR.

The REPR is already in service with SOCOM and I'm sure has done in many a bad guy already. Its a damn fine rifle, if I had $4k to spend I'd buy one.

The tendency for people around the world to want to proclaim their religion the "best" the "chosen" the "most beloved by God," etc. runs pretty deep and pretty common.

Let God decide what Jesus is lord over. Nimrods put that inscription on those scopes. It's not that far away from waving scimitars in the air crying out "Allah Akbar!"
