This months issue of Yachting...

Its not on their website yet but they reviewed Rybovich's latest boat the 78. They had a great picture of Legend the second Rybovich ever built running alongside it.

Fantastic boat, the engine room is a work of art. I love going into high end boats engine rooms, the wiring, plumbing and everything is just done perfectly. I still think Cabo has some of the best looking wiring looms of any boat, talk about laser straight perfection.

She is a good running boat to, tops out at 42.2 knots, and will cruise all day at 23 knots only burning 80gph.

Excuse my ignorance but what are those two longest polls that stick out?

Antennas or something that helps with fishing?

Trawling? No. Sportfish boats don't trawl- that is commercial fishing pulling a net. Trawlers are also slow boats, and they burn little fuel. Those are outriggers, and they fold out and away from the boat. Attached to them are several lines which have release clips on them that are able to travel up and down the length of the rigger. You can then pull more fishing lines with either bait or lures attached at the end without tangles. In the center is called the "center rigger" which allows one or two lines to run down the center without tangles.

We used them to hang the beach towels and bathing suits.

I may have even performed such shenanigans. Although my parents only had a half-tower.

Yea... Just be sure, you time the motion of the boat and push off really hard when you jump... Ask me how I know.

Yeah my dentist screwed up his arm jumping off the hardtop on his Jefferson. Didn't push off and nailed the rail on the way down.
