Colts VS. Saints in XLVI

Well. Here is the line up for Superbowl 40 in Miami Florida. The Vickings did not get in so it looks like I wont be buying the tickits for my wife as promised. She has been a fan of this team since 1970. I thought they had this game tonight. They put up one hell of a fight. Lots of crap calls by the officials but they put up a better fight then everyone said they would.

The old man did one hellofa job til he got hurt!

It looked as if Brees might have had something wrong with his throwing hand at the end too.

That kicker drilled it at the end!

We are getting what I hoped for manning vs brees. I don't care who wins!

Actually since the saints have never won I might secretly hope they do.

I was hoping Favre could pull it out. So many bizarre turnovers. The guy's tough as nails but for the first time, I could really see how he is, in fact, getting old.

Well, Favre's Vikings managed to lose to the lesser Saints.

But looking ahead, I believe Manning and the Colts will spank the New Orleans Saints. We may have a pretty good Super Bowl to watch this year. And regardless........New Orleans, Louisiana, and the Gulf Coast region has something to be proud of, if only a professional sports team.

Till he got hurt.

It looked to me like they were out to injure him. You can't rough the passer like that 2 or 3 times a game. Rule needs to be tightened up. Player ejection after the second or third penalty at least. I would think the owners would want to protect their megamilliion QB's a little better.

But the end (Favre interception) was predictabe. He has a history of doing that. Did'nt he do it against NY Giants a couple of years ago? He also did it against Philly a 3 or 4 years ago in the playoffs.
