George thought he bought a car (Chrysler LeBaron, I think) formerly owned by Jon Voight...until it was discovered that the car was actually titled as "John" Voight...funny episode!

Funny how people market vehicles. We know that she wants something else with A/C for her parents, but don't know anything including mileage and condition, on the car she's selling.

Shocking it hasn't sold!

OK my 65 Rolls was owned by David Janssen ( Dr Richard Kimball) of the Fugitive fame. Heck I got a picture of him leaning on it. Seems like that should help me to sell it, but as of yet , no bites. Not sure famed previous ownership helps - lol

I thought it was her way of saying the A/C doesn't work in the MB.

Have you ever repaired the A/C on one of these? The climate control servo alone in a nightmare. There are also lots of switch-over valves to deal with.

Hopefully it will not have California emissions as some cars sold in the Western Reigon did back then.

meltedpanda 01-26-2010 08:14 PM

OK , I will let the Rolls go for 35K :)

I almost bought the house next to her's back in 95. Too much money, too little house. Didn't really want to move to NJ anyway.
