Tyler goes to Memphis to pick up a C36 the same day I'm going to look at one in San Antone...
So I buy it (probably not as cheap as Tyler got his - he's got a nose...)  Its IMPERIAL RED. Like Tyler's. And somebody else here just bought one in....... IMPERIAL RED  You should be able to pick it out in this photo (the W220 on the left I just bought through Bruce M.) Tyler - the gauntlet is thrown! You have me out-stabled, that's for sure. A S500 and a Pagoda! Plus my heard is thinning in the next few weeks... down to a piddly 3 benzes and Denali. Poor Ingrid and Ol' Turbo are on the chopping block.
Now, if I could actually hold on to some of my cars... I'd have a 6.9, E500, and a cherry Woody Wagoneer. Those are the ones I miss the most. Hmm... Did your C36 have a new wiring harness, new pads and rotors, throttle body, rebuilt head and head gasket, along with a new timing chain, belts, hoses, engine and tranny mounts in the last 30k?  I think I can win the C36 duel.

... but I checked it pretty thoroughly.
I bought it anyway knowing I would be attending to most of those items. If you make it to Joe's annual Centerville GTG, would yoou bring it or? (I'll show you mine if you show me yours )Regards, Kevin
