Manning is from
NOL?

Sweet turnabout on both sides!

It should be a great shootout between two of our best qbacks. Whomever wins will be a classy guy!

Fans Rooting For Saints But Predict Colts Will Win Super Bowl

Despite this season's outstanding performance by Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, nearly half of Americans who will be watching Super Bowl XLIV say they are no match for the formidable Peyton Manning and his Indianapolis Colts. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of adults who plan to watch the game shows that 49% believe the Colts will win their second Super Bowl title in four years.

That kickoff recovery was sweet! Kind of set the tone...and speaking of tone, the old Who lads weren't too bad at all! Ringo's son on the drums was a nice touch.

Awesome game!
I told my wife teh Saint would have an intrerception sometime during the game. I said it again with just a little over 4:00 left. Then Porter goes and takes one for a TD. Awesome!

Best Superbowl I've seen in a while. Congratulations Saints!

I called that in post #9 in this thread The Saints benefited from both the late missed field goal *and* the late interception on a drive that was sure to put points up on the board. They also caught a real lucky break on recovering that on-side kick, but Sean Peyton had a huge pair of balls on him to even make that attempt - he came out swinging with his play calling in the second half, and fortune definitely favoured the bold.

Well done, Saints.

Never fails, when the Colts are favored to win, they lose, the "Namath Curse".

Check out this screen cap I got from espn.com just as the game ended. It's hard to see, but look at the headline on the right. It says "Saints pick off Manning, Colts to win Superbowl".
