A 500SL was offered for sale near to me at an incredible price. The auction showed only 3 hours left, and for some reason he lowered is BIN to $5500.00. On his other listings he says that he's lost his income and is desperate for money. His feedback corroborated that he was unloading his toys.

I hit the buy it now, and am redirected off ebay to this:

Yikes!

I didn't notice at first, but when it asked for immediate payment and my account information even though I was logged in, I knew something was up. A confirmation email was sent instructing me to send money via Western Union to Gainsville, Fl! I'll post the email next.

The car is in Oklahoma City.

I scrambled to change all of my passwords, but wow. Someone not experienced with ebay could have been easily fooled.

on the delorean forum one of the guys bought, two '59 Cadillac herses/ambulances off of ebay for like $750 and he was really excited since those are the right cars for an ECTO-1 but hes having issues contacting the seller and all that fun stuff that goes along with being shafted
