The dollar isn't pegged to anything. It is worthless. The only "value" it has is the "full faith and backing of the US Government." Which in my opinion is pretty worthless.

And if a country like China were to call in these supposed "debts" Washington could go off and say that China is declaring economic warfare on the United States. This in turn would invalidate their treasury notes. Now this is very unlikely, but seriously international finance is a game. The cash you and I hold has absolutely no value in it.

Who cares how much debt our country has. It has already been made quite apparent that the solution is to print money. It is pointless to worry about something we all do not have any control over.

You might want to check with that state she ran from, I'm sorry, I mean ran, and ask them how they feel about her now. Now that she's seen the bright lights of the big city that is.
