The first picture is from like... 2006? just a cool sunrise I happened to be awake to see..

The second was when California was getting hit by all those storms last month, it was raining but there was a quick break in the clouds and it looked really cool, the iPhone's camera doesn't really do it justice though

Third is when I went with a buddy up the Palm Springs Ariel Tramway in 2007 which is the largest rotating tramway in the world, below is where I live and i'm facing Nevada which should be in the distance.

Neat pic. If I remember correctly the mountians the other side of that valley are in Joshua Tree National park are they not? I visited there some years back looking in the opposite direction, towards where you were when you took the pic. The San Andreas fault runs thru that valley does it not?

Yes, in rusting away. Local crew members warned the driver that his truck would be gone in a year. Locals would not drive faster than 20mph on the flat.

Thanks Peter, yes, the mountains opposite of me in the picture are the Joshua Tree National park mountains, which have an exceptional view as well! Yes, haha the fault does run right through here which kind of sucks in the case of a major earthquake lol :S

Skid Roe Joe- If that was to me, Thanks!! I have a few more that I'd like to post as well, just need to look through the mess that is my pictures folder lol
