Well, I suppose but the Taoist thing also holds that you gain energy from a succesful male-female union. I've found myself that sex can either be really invigorating or sorta depleting, depending on the energy, the heart connection. Sex w/o love, say with a hooker, is not fulfilling. And each ejaculation sends out hundreds of millions of genetic blueprints of of the ejaculator, and that has to involve at least some energy, minerals, etc.

I think the indians (east indians) have something about having the muscle contracting like the guy is popping but no genetic material comes out. It somehow reverts back into the body. Supposedly they can have pleasure but not lose any of their energy.

I can only imagine that's about the same thing the Chinese Taoists were onto. Same description, that is enabling inner absorption of the energy of the seed. Word I read is that high mucky mucks of the day who had sizeable numbers of available concubines would become weak and depleted owing to over-frequent ejaculation (poor babies).
