Google Chrome--No touch-pad scroll
 

I like everything about chrome, except that I cannot manage to get the touch-pad scrolling to work. It works on explorer and even pdfs on chrome, but not regular web pages. Considering how much bloody time I spend on this website reading, I'd like to have my touch-pad scrolling. Anyone else have this issue?

I haven't tried Google Chrome, but love Mozilla's Firefox-- and the touch pad's scroll works fine.

I had problems with it and used this http://users.ecs.soton.ac.uk/pjt2v07/chrome/ patch. Works now. YMMV

Still no good. I'm perplexed.

What is touch pad scrolling?

I have an old lap top with a scroll section on the right side of the touch pad and it scrolls down and up on any page any sight.

Are you guys talking about something different?

Well, that's pretty much what it is, but it's not marked on newer touchpads.

In case anyone else had this problem, I went to support.dell.com and downloaded the driver for the touch pad there and it works now. It's wonderful.
