The Leg-Lax Party Manifesto:

When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for a people to loosen the stool of politics which have brought strain and constipation to government, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to give government a laxative.

The history of the present Congress is a history of repeated costiveness and fecal impaction with both parties, all having in direct result severe legislative constipation over these states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world:

They have refused to assent to the natural process of the legislature.

They have refused to the let the government pass a movement without great discomfort.

They willingly stop the natural process with a fecal impacting tool called a filibuster.

They have allowed our government to suffer while needed programs are constipated in the legislative intestinal system.

They have put personal or organizational gain over the health and well being of our government.

They have refused to properly digest the will of the people and work to expel a useful and agreeable result.

We, therefore, the unelected armchair quarterbacks of the United States of America, declare that the Congress should be given a laxative. All the legislators living on an unhealthy diet of pork and Chinese food and drunk with power should be expelled and replaced with custodians seeking a healthier diet. While this will be an awkward transition, much like diarrhea after a laxative, the end result will be positive for America.

We also believe that it is not plagiarism when the original author has been dead for 200 years who plagiarized from a person deceased even longer.

Join the Leg-Lax party and give our government the laxative it needs in 2010 to become regular again.
