How much is a Trillion?
A very disturbing "visual" on the radio this morning. I don't know who it was because I started listening halfway through. But he asked: If a stack of $1000 bills 4 inches tall equals $1 million, how tall would the stack be to make it $1 trillion?
The answer will astound you.

It would take you about an hour to drive from one end to the other.

I think it would be 1/3 of billion feet
Or we could say 333,000,000 feet. The earth is said to be approximately 25,000 miles in circumference, which I think is 132,000,000 feet. Two times around the earth would be 254,000,000 and then you would have 79,000,000 million feet which would run from Cicero, IN to probably I'd say Alice Springs in the Australian Outback. That is a very long stack of $1000 dollar bills, I think maybe more then we can pay back, I mean the whole 12 trillion.

It depends what country you're in, it's either 10^12 or 10^18; either is a large number.

A trillion is about half the number of dollars we owe the Chinese, I believe . . . .

I was puzzled by your post about driving an hour. Then I calcuated 63 miles, and figured that is what you meant.
Can your Benz drive 63 miles vertically in an hour? I'm impressede.

Even more impressive is a stack of bills 63 miles high that would remain upright.
