Apex resection

Anyone had this?
I'm scheduled for it this next week in tooth #37, thanks to root-canal work by a butcher dentist 20+ years ago.

How long before I can eat/drink normal again ??

Thanks,
V.

Good luck!!!
Maybe google it, it might tell you more.

... appears to be a 20min procedure, no big deal.
It's the effects afterwards that seem to be annoying: swollen jaw, stitches in gums..

I would be a bit wary of receiving this procedure if I were you, as there is no tooth #37...

37 ???

I'm no dentist, but I thought they only went up to like 32.
I guess having 4 wisdom teeth too, might take that to 36. (??) Not sure.

Either way. I’d look up the procedure on the net and learn as much about it as I could and go from there.

Have fun. Good luck with it.

Wisdom teeth (aka third molars) are tooth numbers 1, 16, 17 and 32 on the model above.

Nobody said teeth had to be in your mouth.
