Isn't there a lot of opium dens in Thailand? I'm glad to hear that your multicultural experience in Asia is going much better than your multicultural experience in Detroit was. I saw opium growing in the Golden triangle....(northern thailand/burma/laos)...i think the opium dens were shut down in the 60's tho. As for fixing problems in the U.S.- I vote Democrat.I dont worry about getting shot here in Singapore...the Government has very good mechanisms in place to thwart that....Drug traffikers ...are hung....iF caught with an unregistered gun...gallows...perhaps amerikas court system could learn something from this.
