Might be a typo. I hope he meant $10,000 which would optimistic but much more of a possibility than $100k.

All the rarity aside, I think a 2.8 just MIGHT be a bit on the small side for such a heavy ride. I dunno, I just think that an engine that small would wear out on the quick having so much load on it...

Yeah. Really big car, really small engine. No wonder they didn't make many of them.

I'm sure he meant $10,000, but throwing in the Barrett Jackson line makes me question it. Barrett Jackson would almost certainly reject that car unless it were celebrity owned.

Another instance of "just because its rare, it doesn't make it valuable". I wonder what this guy would price my euro 500SL and one of only 1000 in the US C36?

Clearly a moron.

I'd give him $3k for it, thats about all its worth. The 280SEL was the cheap model.

You can't be serious.

Oh, I was thinking about buying a new S63 AMG , but I saw your car and can't believe how rare it is. I'll take it!

They made plenty of them. Just didn't sell them in the States. Irrespective of it's condition the guy is simply nuts.
