Looks perfect Tyler. I would have gone with tires that have a more refined tread pattern, this one is a little blocky. Detracts from the beautiful lines of the car.

Sorry Tyler, I might show my perfectionist side too much and just want to pass it forward. Your car deserves it, it has the same sentimental value my 300D has to me.

I too got Potenzas (Pole Position RE960AS) on my 190E. Are those the same?

If I didn't know any better, I'd say that's a photo from the 80's. It just looks perfect.

I'm considering never using the garden hose again on the SL. In the last year I've only done so once or twice when I really didn't need to. Just quick detailer and wax, plus whatever cleaning stuff I feel the need to do. I imagine it will help preserve the car further. I quick detail sprayed the car today, and will probably clay bar it tomorrow. I also the air cleaner off today for a polish, cleaned and polished the engine bay, used Mother's back to black on all the trim, conditioned the leather, polished the wood, and applied some tire shine.

I've been reluctant to photograph it because of the old wheels. I put them on when I was 17 and just outgrew them. Same goes for the annoying Pioneer Premier stereo that gives a laser light show and beeps with every button.

I guess I could have done alot worse in those years, like paint it yellow or something.
