We have a couple of birds that are constantly beating themselves to death,,,, maybe I can just wait,,, against the windows of our house. 5:30 in the morning till all hours of the night. Our kitty just stays inside, trying to get them through the window,,, I call them Dumb and Dumber. Anyone have a way to discourage the birds without lethal measures ?

I bought it at my local hardware store. It is mylar, red on one side and silver on the other. It flutters in the wind and seems to create the illusion of fire. At least that is my theory.

This surprised the heck out of me but when I pulled the plastic owl off its perch in front to wash it and left it to dry on the edge of the back patio, the skunks who cross through my yard because there are no dogs gave it a wide berth!
