Computer Question[firefox]

I have a 64 bit OS and FF operates on a 32 bit OS.Everything works just fine except for the FF adons and plugins. I am trying to get a RT. Clk. Deskcut and IE View also copy and paste. I am looking for a work around.

If you are using Windows there does seem to be a 64 bit firefox version available

http://wiki.mozilla-x86-64.com/Firefoxownload

If that doesn't help then I can do no more - sorry - I'm a Linux nut.

??

I'm running the 32bit version of firefox on Windows 7 64bit. There should be an emulator that allows 32bit programs to run without worry. In fact for Java and Flash to work they need to be run in the 32bit version.

Are you running the correct version? The 64bit one would be giving you trouble like that.

If i use your 64 version,i still can't use any plugins since they are all in 32 bit.

32bit plugins aren't supported on that 64bit version of firefox AFAIK and also I dont think that 64bit version is a final RC from Mozila.

The one that is in English, is 32bit, and runs on Windows

The plugins are Oracle's and Adobe's problem. They need to create stable 64bit versions of their software.
