Roll call for 219s

Now that I have a CLS, I was wondering who else here has one? I know most of us have older Benzes, but I'm sure there must be a few newer ones among us.

I dont think Dee8go was asking which CLS you would buy. Did I miss something Dee8go? I remember you talking about those cars but I didn't know you bought one. Congrats, beautiful sedans.

When I saw that post I assumed you were referring to the old Ponton 219. The six cylinder in a 190 body.

I bought a 2006 CLS500 last Wednesday. Only 16,000 miles on it. Woohoo! I got a call from somebodgt I know at ASC in Arlington, went down and drove it, and then made a low ball offer. He started writing it up as soon as I made an offer, so I bought it.

It's really fun to drive a car in which all the nuts and bolts are tight and nothing leaks. I had to take the SEC out for a spin today so as not to hurts its feelings.
