Post the craziest reason

For getting fired from a job. here's mine.

I worked at a print shop about 25 ago and the other pressman and the foreman told me that I was only allowed to print 5000 copies a day, I said **** on that, I wanted to impress my employer I was printing 5000 copies an hour. I was fired by the end of the week. ISYK

Young man, if you are a good worker, your employment future, will be so bright, you'll have to wear shades. Good luck young man.

The only time I've ever been fired, I was self-employed

I told my boss to get over his homophobia. Wasn't fired per se, just never called back into work.

Bill worked in a pickle factory. He had been employed there for a number of years when he came home one day to confess to his wife that he had a terrible compulsion. He had an urge to stick his "Johnson" in the pickle slicer. His wife suggested that he should see a therapist to talk about it, but Bill indicated that he'd be too embarrassed. He vowed to overcome the compulsion on his own.

One day a few weeks later Bill came home absolutely ashen. His wife could see at once that something was seriously wrong. "What's wrong, Bill?" she asked.

"Do you remember that I told you how I had this tremendous urge to put my "Johnson" in the pickle slicer?"
"Oh, Bill, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"My God, Bill, what happened?"
"I got fired."
"No, Bill. I mean, what happened with the pickle slicer?"
"Oh... she got fired too."

i got fired by a production designer because i refused to steal $500 worth of material from one job and production company, to use on another job where he had underbid badly. ended up costing me $20K a year worth of work. in retrospect, i think i made the wrong choice. me and my stupid "integrity".

If it hadn't been that it would have been something else.

My son's best freind got fired from a factory job because he showed up for work on haloween in costume. He had heard he was supposed to. His boss told him to change the outfit and he refused and was fired.

(No he was not dressed up as a pickle slicer!)

Boss said change, you change. It is that simple.

So he was the worker that initiated the doings with the pickle slicer?

My former boss, who took $ 5800 in kickbacks which I inadvertently discovered (just didn't know it was him who got the money when I followed the paper trail) got me put on a list of "mediocre" employees after 24 years on the superior performance list.

I got laid off, he got a retirement with 160,000 severance.

I ended up getting two years off with some severance pay and my retirement, but found two temp jobs-- each lasting three years-- that I loved. Then got my current job, which I also love.

Justice doesn't always happen, but the real tragedy is he has to live with himself. I don't.

Plus I told this once to a woman that I knew who also hated him. I got laid

That was worth it!

For $5800 and $160,000, I think he is getting laid and living with himself very well.
