Monroe (I know, I know) struts on sale

I just managed to pick up 2 struts and 2 shocks by Monroe (Sensatrack) for $166 shipped, and there is a $50 mail-in rebate (good through the end of the month) on the set. These will be going on our Saab, which sorely needs the shocks (and will need struts in due time). Not a bad deal if you have a vehicle that needs suspension and don't mind Monroe. I ordered mine from Amazon, but many of the discount parts houses had similar deals. The rebate .pdf is available at Amazon's website.

I scored a similar deal for my VW Rabbit last year . Got Sensatrak struts from Rock Auto (distributor closeout ) that worked with the rebate and paid about $10 total after $80 rebate. They work OK so far....can't complain

Yep -- for the money (combined with the fact that they're going on a grocery-getter with blown shocks), it's hard to go wrong!

No apology necessary......Monroe shocks are recommended on my motorcoach specific owners group forum by satisfied coach owners that have switched to them in lieu of Bilsteins.

Ordered shocks and struts on Amazon Monday morning, and the shocks were on my doorstep after work yesterday (Tuesday)! The struts are out for delivery today. Can't beat that! I got the shocks installed last night, and a brief test drive indicated that they made all the difference in the world. I need to do a more critical test run with them, but I'm very pleased so far!

Dang, I couldn't resist either.

I paid $33 for each SensaTrac shock.

Oh well, we'll see.
