Phillies fan pleads guilty in "vomit attack" on cop's daughter

Matthew Clemmens, the Philadelphia Phillies fan who was accused of intentionally vomiting on an 11-year-old girl at a game, pleaded guilty to assault charges today at his arraignment.
The 21-year-old from Cherry Hill, N.J., was charged with simple assault after he made himself throw-up on off-duty Easton police Capt. Michael Vangelo and his daughter.
The April 14 incident set off a wave of criticism of Phillies fans, who in turn were quick to remind people that Clemmens was from New Jersey.
Clemmens will be sentenced on July 30 and is expected to get probation. The Phillies have invited Officer Vangelo and his family to come to another game and get VIP treatment.
