How do you hold cups?
So, since most of us are driving cars with no standard cup holders - I was just wondering what people are doing to over come the problem.
I'm using a roll of duct tape in the console tray. It fits a 12 oz can quite nicely - plus, who doesn't need a spare roll of duct tape? |
If there is someone riding shotgun, they are my beverage holder.
If not, then its either between the legs, or riding in the shifter gate. |

I bought some cup holders for this car. The color blends well with the burl wood and they attach directly to my AC vents. If you want them I can sell them to you if you really need cup holders. Just PM me if you're interested

I just wait until I get where I'm going.

I have used plasticy thingies which fasten to the dash with velcro. Also a plastic thingie which makes the cup "stick" and not slide around (not recommended for vigorous cornering.

I keep a bottle of water in the center tray. I do not use cups of any kind.
I also never go through a drive through it is not an issue. My 300SD had a cup holder glued to the driver's door. It matched the interior color and was pretty sturdy - I found out when I tried to remove it. Maybe JohnHef can get the manufacturer's name off it. |
Crotch lock it :D

It certainly makes having cup holders a novelty when I do get to use one. |
Travel mug with an open bottom on the handle, hooks on the side of the SD's center console quite nicely. If it's full, I like to pull the passenger seat up far enough to squeeze the mug just a little against the side.
Water bottle goes in between passenger seat and arm rest. |

My Chevy has fantastic cup holders. I have yet to find a cup they can't handle, even spray cans don't phase them!:D
When I had the MB I used to just hold my beer. |
