Looks like a regular 4DR Golf. But its lifted, bull bar, and funny camera angle. I think.

There was also a version called Golf Country (about 6,697 cars), designed for light off-road driving. It had more suspension travel, four-wheel drive, bullbars (generally over a single headlight grill), a skid plate for protecting the engine area, and a spare wheel mounted externally on the back.

In Europe, it was offered with the acclaimed 114 bhp (85 kW) 1.8 8v petrol engine, and in smaller numbers, the 75 hp (56 kW) 1.6 GTD turbodiesel engine. There were also: 160 "Country Allround"; 558 " Country - Chrompaket" with Chrome bullbars and beige leather interior; and 50 "Country GTI" for VW-staff. The Golf Country was particularly popular in Alpine regions in central Europe

That's pretty cool! I'll take a diesel one. Along the same lines as the Suby Outbacks.

No Trabants?

So cheap and so lightweight you just toss it a dumpster when it breaks!

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think 'Bullbars' are called 'Roo bars' in the Land Down Under.

I don't think they are made anymore...

Those Citroens look good for about 6 months - after that bits start to fall off and before you know it you are driving in a rusty death trap with the wind whistling through your teeth. My advice is to never buy a French car. Drink the wine, eat the cheese but never buy a car from them.

Why doesn't Ford want the American people to have the Focus RS!? They would sell so damned many!
