Bored with the camera
I'm not a good photographer and I've got a 5 year old digital camera. But I was "working" today and decided to take pics. I think they turned out kind of cool, and I've never posted pics of my other cars, except the CLK. So here you go. I've been painfully bored this week haha.

I love the Fiero.
I can't see the back... do you have the 4-wheel steering? how warm is your engine bay? |
No fieros had 4 wheel steering. 80s Preludes did. Unless thats a fiero joke that went over my head lol.
Engine bay doesn't get too hot. They have vents in the decklid on the later cars. |
Awesome, I like Fieros. Another car I need to own
|
I had an '88 four banger.... what a go-cart that was. 97 hp of raw, unadulterated 'merican firepower.
the four-wheel steering never made it to production, there were a few prototypes, though. nice car |
Sweet Fiero! It still looks hot 20 years later - and by hot I don't mean on fire!
I always wanted one! The local dealer had a 88 left over GT for sale for $12000 in 89 or 90 I wanted it badly but the NOW-ex-wife forced the issue and we got a get this a Ford Tempo! Talk about a puke mobiile! |
Funny, I've had my eye on this ad for a while wondering if I should call. :o
There would need to be a hefty price drop though. ;) http://wichita.craigslist.org/cto/1779941319.html |
You won't get it. Fiero Replica owners think they are all sitting on gold. (Don't worry, I grasp that they aren't)
The only replica to have... if you must. Is a Mera. They were sold through dealers as new cars. 88 is the year to have, the suspension is SO much better. The maroon 87 you can see behind the white 88 has full poly, kybs, and camaro brakes and honestly the near stock 88 handles much better. The red car has a 3800SC GTP swap in it. |
Funny, overnight he's raised his price from $7500 to $10,000.
I was in at about 2-3k... :o |
See... gold.
The car's worth $2-3k as a running driving decent condition GT. Actually with only 51k miles and decent paint it's probably worth all of $3k. My friend sold his 86 automatic with decent paint overnight for $2200. A replica would be worth a little more to someone who wanted it. A fake Ferrari is worthless to me. Fiero values are all about how much the owner likes it and if the buyer likes fieros. That's why I buy parts cars for $200, "get this pos my uncle bought outta my barn, and don't buy completed cars off of forums, because they want $10k like that guy. |
Found it on ebay. Bidding is at 4k. Shill?
|
$4-5k sounds fair to me, I'm amazed there is no reserve on it.
