I wear a cheap, but nice looking Lorus chronograph. It cost me all of $25.00. I don't have to worry about scratching it or what happens to it. Oh yeah, it keeps perfect time.

I owned 3 watches,Casio Forester($25.00)for everyday use.
GMT Master 1973 model that I bought in Antwerp that year,
and the Concord Mariner SG.that the company claims that
it is the flattest and thinnest water resistant quartz stainless
steel and 14k gold watch.(4mm.in thickness)in the world Using it occasionally.

My favorite watch… I got from one of those stores that sells designers labels for less. It was a Pierre Somebody. (I paid 9.95) It had a square face with roman numerals gold case and bracelet. It was a great looking watch but I think I liked the fact that it was less then 10 bucks. Anyway… It worked fine until that day at Hershey Park and the water slide. (face full of water at 3:15pm) I saw the same watch again but they wanted 29.95… I’m thinking about it.

yo buddy..
chill it.. im sorry if that offends you.
It's not like I don't admit it and really wanna fool people into thinkin that i got a Rolex.. i happened to go somewhere and got it for a pocket change.. just a souvenir.

i have fine appreciation for watches, and do intend to keep my watches for a long time.. all three of my watches combined could probably get me a Rolex Submariner or a Rolex Datejust (stainless steel), but I guess I loved the Breitling more at that time.
I wish the Breitling had Sapphire crystal though.. as it does have one tiny scratch.. i dont know how I got it... but the Tags are perfect even though they get more abuse.

FYI, i see people selling these replicas for $200-500 and when people buy those, I really think it's stupid.. i really shouldn't say how much I got it for as it could offend you more (dont be too sensitive bout it will ya?) but it's definitely a small fraction of that.

Red face Don't believe it

Use my Mercedes clock most of all as I drive a lot! But, when not driving I use my Rolex Oysterquartz because it keeps on ticking when I remove it for the weekend like going racing. That's when I wear an Ironman with 10 lap memory and don't take the chance to screw up a good watch. The Rolex runs 2-3 years on a new battery and easy to change. Nice looking with s/s and gold with a white face and Roman numerals.

Also have an old Omega and some of my grandfather's away in storage.

I do not wear one. My Startac has the time!

I have a friend that has the watch James Bond wore in one of the last movies they made. The battery went dead so he sent it for a new one. $379 later he had a new battery and a "standard service" all their watches go thru. I have no idea which brand. He told me but I forgot!

I like to see a nice watch. I just never liked the feel of one on my wrist.

Startac battery $79.

My Hamilton isn't in a safe deposit box, but is in a display box that is in the china cabinet. I got this one from my Grandpa. I believe it dates to the early 1900's. Only about 1/4 thick. Gets worn on special occassions only.

The side panels of the knife are gold too.

To Holson and Fellow Members,

I`d like to apologize to Holson, for my comments last night. I lost my head, and he did not deserve what I said.

Also to fellow members.

If I felt the same way about cars the way I feel about watches, I would be driving a Geo Metro! I really don't buy watches for myself...they are given to me as gifts.

Anyway, I got a Skagen as an anniversary gift from my wife. Looks like a Movado, but costs a LOT less. It gets lots of compliments too!
