Those of you who followed my stories of Ma may have noted the regular mention of Fridays at Joanie's.

Joanie rocks. Greatest cafe/place to hang out/gathering of misfits ever. Story in the local paper included an online video:

The end is the heart of it. Joanie describes us (her extended family) as being like the gathering of goons in Rudolph's land of misfit toys, and talks about Ma (lady with brain cancer). Darling Wife and I both laughed our arses off, and cried at the same time.

Story, mostly about waffles :P
