Skid Row Joe, I hope you read this, I wonder if it works on pit bulls ? I think a can of ether would be more reliable. Back when I was a kid, the mail delivery guys had some pressure can of dog deterrent, dont know what it was but it worked.

3M Proffesional Strength Spray Adhesive. Of course they like to roll in the dirt and try and get if off.

a garden sprayer filled with vinegar and salt, pumped up tight and the nozzle opened to stream rather than mist. You could hit the cur from 10 feet away.
