Internet hate threat against the President.
 

This disturbs me a lot. I ran into this on another off topic forum, about cars, and the subject was about "Forget about Obama?'

His post was succinct and to the point:

I think this is really scary, in total, but
am I over reacting?


Is this kind of a post worth reporting to the authorities, or should I just blow it off and forget it. Threats are probably a dime a dozen..

It was NOT made humorously either.


Nobody commented on it, and talk online, is cheap, but to me it sounded like a nut job mouthing off,

But it really upset me, and I wondered if the guy really has the means and wherewithal and desire to act, or is just being a fool and it doesn't mean anything.

If yes, who should be notified?

Advice, anyone?

As someone who disagrees with nearly everything on the President's agenda, I pray continually for his safety. I can think of nothing worse than if someone did as the quoted post demanded.

Oh man, the stinky would hit the fan did that happen.

It's a tough call, Jim. Maybe reporting it would be best. Could be they're swamped with that sort of thing though.

Hmmm. I am glad he is with you on your side of the world.
There is nothing wrong with being a collector, weather it be postage stamps or ak47's. But his state of mind is a worry.

Most of those photos are from a group of pics that have been around for a long time. I doubt they are his particular collection.

That gun collection is JUST that, a gun collection.

One of my neighbors has 2-3 times that collection, but he shoots at any & every competition.

That gun picture is a stock pic thats been around for a long time, its not his safe.

While he's probably just some pencil-***** making noise, words have consequences. There'd be no downside to reporting him and a visit to his mother's basement by dark suited men in a black Suburban might just be what it takes to keep him from doing something stupid. I'd report it.

Believe me you do not want to be on the wrong side of these guys! I once had "an issue" with them and I lost that fight! Of course after they took care of whose bark was louder (Intra-agency BS I cannot get into ) they turned out to be a great bunch of guys! VERY HARDCORE though.
I would hate to have them coming through my windows at 3am!:eek::eek:

As to the original post, I would not worry about it. If, in fact it is a credible threat believe me, the Secret Service (Call them the SS and get your teeth kicked in) is aware of it...
