Ultimate Factories TV Show
Greetings from exotic Philadelphia!
Has anyone seen the TV show "Ultimate factories"? Every one that I have seen is about auto factories. At the moment, I am watching the new Camaro episode. I know they also have Porsche 911, Corvette, Audi R8, and VW factories as well. Thoughts on the show? The Camaro looks so cheap

I've seen the one about Porsche. Pretty amazing stuff. Engineering at its finest, typical of Germans.

Harley-Davidson was pretty good too. Much more automation than I would have guessed.
Maybe not the same show but similar.

I love that show. It's mind-boggling, all that goes into building a manufacturing facility with all of the robotics and automation in use today. I worked in a Whirlpool refrigerator factory in Fort Smith, Arkansas back in the late 1970's and was amazed by the complexity involved even back then.

Robotics are just amazing and mind boggling that someone could design that. There is a Nissan plant here and during open house they showed the robots welding. They could throw out something like 80 spot welds in 10 seconds.
